Biological Technicians
In February 2022, a study conducted by a group of scientists showed that what happens in the human brain at the moment of death and dying is remarkably similar to what happens during dreaming, meditation, and memory recall. The researchers suggested that as a person dies, they relive the most important moments of their life. That study was the first of its kind on this topic, but there are thousands of studies and experiments that medical and biological scientists have conducted over the past decades to figure out how the organs and parts of the human body — or of other living organisms — actually work. The experiments run by medical and biological scientists go through many stages and require extremely precise procedures — a single experiment might take hundreds of days of work. That's why these scientists, researchers, and their technician assistants spend long hours every day in labs and research facilities. The technician who works in medical and biological science labs is called a "biological technician," and they're responsible for assisting the scientists, taking on some very essential tasks such as: preparing lab equipment and tools, collecting the samples used in experiments, monitoring the processes that occur during an experiment, and recording the results.
